mnera.io has a free tier and an optional paid subscription. Neither requires a credit card to try.

14-day Pro trial
Every new mnera.io account gets 14 days of free Pro access, automatic from day zero. No credit card, no opt-in, no separate signup flow — just create the account and every Pro feature on this page is unlocked.
- The countdown is anchored to your account creation date, so refreshing or signing in doesn't reset it.
- The trial banner on the account settings page shows how many days remain.
- Subscribe before day 14 to keep Pro access; do nothing and your account reverts to Free with no loss of bookmarks, topics, or collections.
- The trial runs once per account — re-creating an account with the same email does not extend it.
Free mnera.io account
Create a free account at mnera.io sign in to save your UI preferences. Your bookmarks remain entirely in your Solid pod — the account only stores your settings. No credit card required.
Pro subscription
A Pro subscription adds semantic features that turn your topic structure into an explorable knowledge graph. Pro is £3/month or £30/year (save 20% with yearly). You can subscribe and manage billing from your account settings, or see full pricing at /pricing.
What Pro unlocks
- Atlas view — the visual dashboard view mode with sunburst, domain bubbles, activity heatmap, topics-over-time chart and cover mosaic. See Atlas.
- Cover images on Cards & Gallery — external cover images (manual or auto-found) render in the Cards and Gallery view tiles. Free accounts see the typographic placeholder only.
- Find cover images — auto-populate missing covers by scanning each page server-side, with Logo.dev and registrable-root fallbacks. See Cover images.
- Topic Explorer — browse your topic hierarchy and see relationships between topics at a glance.
- Semantic filters — combine topics with AND or OR, show untagged-only, expand to related topics. Filters compose with search and the sidebar.
- Relationships tab — every bookmark and topic has a Relationships tab showing parents, children, and other bookmarks reachable through shared topics.
- Force-directed graph — interactive visualisation of topics and bookmarks as nodes and edges. Surfaces both inside the Relationships tab and at the top of the Atlas view when a topic is selected.
- Subtopic-aware filtering — selecting a parent topic surfaces its bookmarks plus everything in its subtopics.
- Semantic search — search by meaning, not just keyword matches.
- Broken link checker — scan every saved URL, flag dead pages, and edit or delete each one in place. See Broken link checker.
- Duplicate finder — group bookmarks that share a URL (after normalization) and delete the extras. See Duplicate finder.
- Privacy image proxy — covers and favicons load via the mnera server so third-party hosts never see your IP. See Security & privacy.
Billing and cancellation
Billing runs through Stripe; mnera.io never stores your card details. You can change plans, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel any time from account settings. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. If you cancel, your bookmarks are unaffected — they live in your Solid pod, not on mnera.io servers.
Storage costs
mnera.io itself does not charge for storage. Your bookmarks are stored in your Solid pod, which may be provided by a free community server or a server you host yourself. Check your pod provider for any storage limits they apply.
